ECTS

Due to the implementation of the new grading system, two options for grading students are given below:

Option A applicable to students applying for an exchange under the Erasmus+ program for bachelor’s studies on semesters 3,4,5,6 and students for master’s studies in 2 semesters. Option B is applicable to students applying for an exchange that does not apply to the semesters indicated above.
To enable the correct choice of two options, the given table was prepared in the academic year 2021/2022 in the summer semester.

Description of the institutional grading system:
The table below presents the Polish grading scale and ECTS equivalent:
An insufficient grade means some more work is required before the credit can be awarded.
The module (course) coordinator defines and announces to the students during the first didactic classes the method of carrying out credits for the individual forms of classes in a given module (course). The form of crediting the course can be oral or written.
Colloquiums and other forms of mid-term control work verify the gradual achievement of the partial, assumed learning outcomes in the field of study. They are held during didactic classes.
The final module grade consists of all grades obtained from all forms of classes in a given module (course).
ECTS credits:
1 full academic year = 60 credits
1 semester = 30 credits

Description of the institutional grading system:
The table below presents the Polish grading scale and ECTS equivalent:
There are grades of two types: the ‘seminar pass’ and the ‘examination pass’ – depending on the type of course and the domination form of education (seminars/laboratories or lectures). Different courses require one or both kinds of passes to complete a course. Some courses lasting longer than one semester require more than one seminar pass (one at the end of each semester) and have two grades in the Seminar column.
