International Business

Major description

Today’s world is truly global: smartphones are designed in California, assembled in Asia and sold in Europe. When young entrepreneurs found their start-ups, they usually think of expanding into the international markets. People order cheap items from far-Eastern shopping platforms and in a short time their goods are delivered to their households. All these examples are realizations of global trade or, in other words, conducting business across borders in a multicultural environment.

Today’s companies – no matter their industry, scale, or organizational structure – operate within a highly connected global marketplace (even if it happens behind the scenes). It is often said that expanding overseas is the true proving ground for a company, demanding flexibility across varying consumer bases and regulatory landscapes. Businesses cross borders to grow their reach, acquire new audiences, and streamline operations. Mastering the art of global management is more than just an organizational objective: it is a deeply rewarding career path that enables significant personal and professional development worldwide.

Our International Business programme equips you with essential expertise: you will discover how to effectively steer through the intricacies of worldwide commerce, from drafting initial market strategies to executing complete cross-border expansions. By participating in this program, you will acquire the tools necessary to transform a domestic concept into a quantifiable worldwide triumph.

Throughout your academic journey, you will interact with industry professionals possessing deep backgrounds in multinational firms and cross-border trade across diverse sectors. Our faculty members are enthusiastic about global commerce and are eager to pass on their cross-cultural insights and practical expertise to you.

As a student of International Business you will learn how to:
